🍯 Will’s Super Gooey Monkey Bread

Serves: 8–10

Total Time: ~1 hour

This monkey bread is sticky, sweet, and impossible to stop eating. It’s made from soft biscuit dough rolled in cinnamon sugar and drenched in a rich buttery caramel glaze that bakes right into every piece. The best part? It’s just as good for brunch as it is for dessert — and it’s totally fine to eat it with your hands.

🧂 Ingredients

Dough Base

  • 3 cans refrigerated biscuit dough (8-count each, like Pillsbury Grands Jr.)

  • 1 cup granulated sugar

  • 2 teaspoons ground cinnamon

Gooey Caramel Sauce

  • 1 cup packed brown sugar

  • ¾ cup butter (1½ sticks)

  • 2 teaspoons vanilla extract

  • Optional: pinch of salt or drizzle of heavy cream for extra richness

👩‍🍳 Directions

🔹 1. Prep the Pan

Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).Grease a bundt pan really well with butter or nonstick spray.

🔹 2. Make the Cinnamon Sugar Coating

In a large bowl or zip bag, mix sugar and cinnamon. Cut each biscuit into quarters, then toss them in the mixture until fully coated.

🔹 3. Make the Gooey Sauce

In a saucepan, melt butter and brown sugar together over medium heat. Bring to a light bubble for 1–2 minutes while stirring, then remove from heat. Add vanilla (and a pinch of salt or splash of cream if you want it richer).

🔹 4. Layer It Up

  1. Place half the coated biscuit pieces evenly in the bundt pan.

  2. Drizzle half the warm caramel sauce over them.

  3. Add the rest of the biscuits, then pour the remaining sauce evenly on top.

🔹 5. Bake

Bake uncovered for 35–40 minutes, or until golden brown and bubbly on top. Let rest 10 minutes before flipping onto a serving plate.

🔹 6. Serve

Serve warm so the caramel stays ooey-gooey and perfect. It pulls apart easily — no knives needed!
