Post 23: šŸ Life Lately: Rain, Goodbyes, and a Whole Lot of Chaos

We know, we know… we say this in literally every blog, but life feels like it’s on fast-forward lately. November has come in swinging, and everything is happening at once.

The biggest shift? Caleb has officially ditched us for Texas until mid-December to help his dad recover from surgery. It’s the longest he and Will have been apart since their Navy days — and after the first couple of days, the muscle memory does come back — but for Daniel, Zoey, and Rigsby? This is basically a lifetime.

Zoey spends half her day staring dramatically out the window like she’s in a Netflix drama about heartbreak. The other half is spent sitting by the door waiting for any sign of Caleb pulling up the driveway. The reunion moment is going to be pure chaos — tail wags, tears, screaming — and Zoey will probably combust from excitement.

Thankfully, everything in Texas seems to be going well, and it looks like the trip was worth it. But yes… the house feels weird without him.

šŸŽ™ļø Podcast Finale Vibes

Today is a HUGE day — Episode 10 of the podcast drops, which means Season 1 is officially wrapped.

Like… WHAT?!

The fact we can even say ā€œSeason 1ā€ or ā€œour 10th episodeā€ is absolutely insane. When we started, we joked that maybe five people (and our moms) would listen. But here we are — with real listeners, actual streams, and people who genuinely look forward to the chaos we put out.

Thank you SO much for being a part of this and supporting us. We’re taking a little holiday break and then coming back with Season 2 in early 2026. We’re already brainstorming how to make it even better.

If you haven’t listened yet — girl… STREAM IT. It’s everywhere. Or watch our faces on YouTube if you want the full mess.

šŸŒ§ļø Rain, No Yardwork & Waiting for Christmas

It’s been raining basically nonstop for a week, which means we’ve gotten zero yardwork done and we can’t start Christmas prep. The plants are drowning, the porch is slick, and every single outside chore is on hold until further notice.

We’re hoping the weather clears by Sunday because we have SO MUCH to do before we can even think about putting up Christmas lights. And don’t worry — we won’t start decorating inside until Caleb is home. He made that very clear.

Daniel and Will even offered on the call:

ā€œWe can put up the tree and decorate if you wantā€¦ā€

Awkward silence from Caleb.

Yeah… message received loud and clear. 🤣

So once he’s back, it’ll be a mad dash into full holiday mode. Until then, we’re enjoying the rare experience of having absolutely no projects for a moment.

🦃 A Two-Dude Thanksgiving

This week will be Daniel and Will’s first Thanksgiving without Caleb, so it’s going to be a little weird. We’re not planning to make a turkey — we’ll save that for New Year’s Eve like last year.

Honestly? We don’t even know what we’re doing yet. It doesn’t feel like the holidays at all. But we’ll figure it out, and we’ll update you next blog with whatever weird menu we end up creating.

šŸ˜‚ Date Night Shenanigans

We did squeeze in a date night this week and went to see Will Burkart live — and he was just as funny in person as he is online… and just as hot. The crowd was a sea of gay men, and every single one of them had hungry eyes. It was hilarious.

We got a picture after the show and even a signed poster made out to ā€œ3dudes1lifeā€ (well… spelled the way he spelled it). Iconic.

If you haven’t watched his special, it’s on YouTube — go find it.

šŸ‡ØšŸ‡· The Costa Rica Commercial Saga

And speaking of the podcast — we have to talk about the Costa Rica commercial moment.

On one of the recent episodes, we mentioned this iconic, unhinged commercial from Costa Rica that features the ā€œangel view.ā€ If you know… you know. If you don’t… go listen. šŸ˜‚

There’s just something about that angle — that shot — that became the inside joke of the week. It sent us into a full spiral because once you see it, you cannot unsee it. We swear the camera operator had one job and said, ā€œLet’s make this unforgettable.ā€

It’s the kind of joke that you only get if you’re listening to the pod — and honestly, those are our favorite moments. Pure chaos, pure laughter, pure ā€œonly we would notice this.ā€

Season 2 is going to have more unhinged gems like that, so buckle up.

šŸŽ HOLIDAY SALE TIME!

Since the holidays are basically HERE, this is your reminder that we’re doing our last big sale for Book 1 before Book 2 comes out in early 2026.

Book 2 is getting delayed a tiny bit since editing is on pause while Caleb is away — but trust us, it is WORTH the wait. This book goes deep into throuple life and really lets you get to know each character.

Here are the sales to watch for:

šŸŽ„ Nov 24 – Dec 2

→ 20% off EVERYTHING on Etsy + Shopify

(books, hats, hoodies, stickers, merch — all of it)

šŸŽ„ Dec 3 – Dec 9

→ Kindle version just $1.99 (USA + UK)

These are the last chances to snag Book 1 on sale before Book 2 drops early next year. Snuggle up and start reading — it hits harder during the holidays.

Also… YES, we bought all the throuple merch from our own store. Because if we wouldn’t wear it, we wouldn’t sell it. Period.

ā¤ļø Wrapping Up

We hope everyone has an amazing rest of November and a warm, happy Thanksgiving — however you celebrate.

We can’t wait to check back in December with more chaos, more updates, and hopefully with Caleb finally home again.

You’re never alone navigating life in this country — we’re all figuring it out together. Lead with love, even when the world doesn’t want it.
